My name is Meredith, and I customize model horses. My medium is pastels, shaved and crushed down into powder, and applied with a brush. I also use acrylic paints for details such as pinto/other white markings, eye and hooves. Sometimes I use colored and pastel pencils for hair detail.
I sell my work on eBay, or I do commissions, or "custom orders." Meaning customers send me a model horse to paint either to their specifications, or give me "artist's choice" (meaning I paint the model whatever color I want, and surprise them).
This blog is for any future announcements from Dragon Ridge Studios, any upcoming pieces meant for eBay, or for sharing my latest works.
